Go to Select Journal Style and pick any version of Practicality.
Under "Choose a Page Set up", any version works.
Go to Customize Journal Style. Under Presentation > Basic Options > Number of journal entries to show on the Recent Entries page , change that to 1. You can have more, but the design is intended for 1 visible entry.
Make sure Display the replacement text when no subject is specified in [...] is checked for entries & comments.
Scroll down to "Select whether user interaction links are printed as text or using the available icons" and the two below it. Make sure all of these dropdowns say "text-only."
Under Modules, uncheck EVERYTHING.
Under Custom CSS: Uncheck "Use Layout's Stylesheet(s)" & paste the following URL into "Custom stylesheet URL":

Select which Journal Style you want to use: With Image or Without Image
Place side image & preferred copic background (CLICK image for full resolution & save an upload to your own journal, please!)

VALUES can be replaced to position and resize your core image. In order: position from the top, position from the right, and lastly, how large the image is.
HEXCODE is the color you want the background to be.
VALUE can be changed to give the image on the right more or less room.
